Swedish First Hill and Swedish Cherry Hill campuses in Seattle each received a five-star patient rating for 2023 from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The 5-star rating is the highest possible achievement in the annual rankings.
First Hill and Cherry Hill are among 483 hospitals receiving five stars in the annual ratings. Swedish Issaquah received 4 stars. CMS Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings are based on 46 quality measures which are divided into 5 categories, including safety of care, mortality, patient experience, readmission rates and timely and effective care.
