Cherry Hill receives comprehensive stroke center accreditation
This accreditation reflects the highest level of treatment for serious stroke events.
SEATTLE, Nov. 15, 2024 – Providence Swedish Cherry Hill has received certification from accreditation service Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, reflecting the highest level of competence for treatment of serious stroke events.
This certification is based on standards set forth by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, affirming that Cherry Hill addresses the full spectrum of stroke care – diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education – and establishes clear metrics to evaluate outcomes.
Cherry Hill was initially certified in 2015 by DNV as a comprehensive stroke center. Each certification is effective for three years.
