Types of vertigo

Twirling around in a circle with outstretched arms and giggling while the world got wobbly was a common childhood game for many of us. But that spinning feeling loses its appeal when it strikes without warning or cause.

Whether it’s caused by loose crystals in your head or an inner ear disorder, vertigo can impact your life significantly until treated.

We talked with Swedish audiologist, Dr. Mary Henry, AuD, FAAA, about the different types of vertigo, their causes, symptoms and treatments.
