Congratulations to nine swedish physicians named Newsweek Top Cancer Doctors of 2015

Swedish is proud to announce nine of its physicians made Newsweek’s Top Cancer Doctors 2015, a list that includes more than 2,600 cancer specialists across the United States. The list was compiled through peer nominations and extensive research by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, a physician-led research firm.

“The Swedish Cancer Institute delivers world-class care by world-class physicians. We are proud of all our caregivers and celebrate this well deserved recognition.” said Thomas Brown, MD, executive director of the Swedish Cancer Institute.

In Washington state, there were 70 physicians who made the list from various health systems. From Swedish, there were nine physicians recognized including:

• Frank F. Isik, MD
• Lorna Marshall, MD
• Marc Mayberg, MD
• Patricia Dawson, MD
• Philip Gold, MD
• Steven Medwell, MD
