U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings name Providence Swedish hospitals among nation's best

Providence Swedish hospitals throughout the Puget Sound region have been recognized for their overall excellence as well as excellence in specialty areas in the U.S News and World Report’s annual rankings of the nation’s best hospitals.  

U.S. News and World Report’s 2023-2024 Best Hospitals report named Swedish First Hill and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett among the best hospitals in the Seattle metropolitan area. Along with Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia and Swedish First Hill in Seattle, Providence Regional Medical Center Everett also received recognition as one of the country’s best regional hospitals. In addition, Swedish First Hill, Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and Providence St. Peter Hospital were named among the best hospitals in Washington State.   

Providence Swedish also continued to garner High Performing ratings in the specialty rankings in this year’s rankings. Those rankings recognize excellence in numerous procedures and the treatment and care for a host of conditions. They highlight distinction in the care of life-threatening or rare conditions and the treatment of complex, high-risk cases. They are intended to be helpful for patients seeking information about a rare condition or difficult diagnosis that isn’t treated at many facilities.
